You could always strip and paint it Riviera or Turquoise Blue.

Kevin, I guess it sounds like it's time for another mate for your C2!

Agree with Rick and Falcon

The track is the cure for boredom. And if you suffer from excessive surplus funds in your bank account, go racing.

Huge fun

Racing is a very slippery slope! I would love to get involved. Unfortunately, I won't be doing so with my 993. I plan on taking it to Europe in a year or so, so need it 'complete' for some European touring.

I should just save up and let 9M have at it!

I hear you on your 993. Sounds too lovely to race.
However there are a number of relatively () low cost options for W2W...
944s, Miatas, even the rent a ride series like Skippy.

I found myself in a similar "predicament" last year after I finished doing what I had wanted to do to the 993. I didn't want to ad more mods that were really not needed since I prefer the clean look and am a less is more kind of car guy.

Since I thought the 993 was too nice to track I bought a Miata to do just that with. It truly is amazing how much fun 140 hp can be, modding it and bringing the suspension up to track snuff isn't too financially painful either.

To put it into perspective, my 64k mile clean as a pin '99 Miata ran about the same as the "new to me" RUF wheels and Potenzas I put on my 993 last year. Thrashing the snot out of it around an Autocross course is priceless.....

calibrate your oil level float arm so that the gauge reads exactly 1/2 of the range when you have enough oil to indicate exactly 1/2 way up the twisty section of the "dip" stick???

That should take several iterations and burn a lot of time....................

LOL

Kevin, my track day buddy just sold his 997. Sign up for a SCDA event this summer; its a good time and I've never felt in danger of wrecking my car.
