Yes, I definitely will.
Will's kit comes in two parts. The part that connects to the car, and the attachment (ball hitch, bike rack, etc.).
When I bought the bike rack, I told Will that I had a "993". He hooked me up with a 964 mounting kit (for a "1993 car"). We figured out the disconnect before the rack was sent, so no harm.
He later told me that he had to custom fabricate the mounting kit from the Yakima bike rack to the 993 mounting kit. So...I think that makes me the first.
As you know with the Targa, we really don't have any other choices.

The Curt Manufacturing 993 license plate area hitch gismo that I've seen installed had the square receiver style coupling, not the tongue style as pictured in the schematic. The 993 owner had an aluminum tire-trailer being towed with 4 track tires.
Drill down on the Curt website and the 993 plate-trailer hitch show's a square receiver. Maybe worth a investigation at Curt.

Well I bit the bullet and bought the sea sucker talon. Took the 993 and my bike to a local club race today. Didn't win the race, but success with the sea sucker.
Feedback: 80K return trip all open winding road at 100kph+, no marks on the roof, wouldn't even know it was on the roof. My view is the bike is all but held by the main sucker on the roof. The rear sucker on the rear window is just keeping the back wheel from jumping around. This bike is probably just on 6.5kg with the front wheel off, so not a lot of weight. Trick is to use a bit of velcro on the non-drive crank arm tied to the chain stay so it doesn't spin and hit the roof. While I could have taken the Subaru, it was fun to take the P car, any excuse to take it out on weekend.
Anyway, as my wife said, it almost made the car practical!

I also use the Sea Sucker Talon system on my C2 without issue, Spokes, good tip on using the velcro on the crank. I wouldn't mind having a stouter hitch to pull around the other bikes though, THAT would make for an all around fun day!!

I pieced together my Thule gutter system the first year I got the car, back in 2010. Used it for almost every bike outing, from road races, destination mixed surface events, mtb rides, and cyclocross in the fall. Lots of use in 2010, 11, 12, and 13. I never put the rack back on this season, a combination of complications from previous bike related injuries, poor fitness, and rising value of our cars...lead me to change somewhat how I used it.
Just can't imagine parking it in a muddy lot filled with minivans for a race weekend, like I used to.
