my thinking was if the tierod was severely damaged or cracked, it would be cable of pushing the wheel out, but not so much pulling it in. While making a left, the drivers side tierod is pulling in, and if the wheel was remaining somewhat straighter, it woudl cause the car to make a wider arc.

This is likely complete bollocks but its my best WAG.

So... My wife informed my last night that she ran over a "limestone brick" at about 15mph a day or so prior to this left turn business. It apparently hit something under the car and made some noise.

...awesome.

Get thee to a mechanic.

Preferably on a flatbed. Or get jscott82 to drive it there for you

Wow. Sorry to hear that. Really. But, LOL!
Kinda reminds me of when my brothers and I were kids beating on my Dad's nice tools and not really wanting to tell him about screwing something up....
But hey, mystery solved. Now just a matter of determining what it is going to take to make it right again.

I'd check with the local police. "Wife missing after admitting to running over brick and forgetting to inform pertinent parties." police investigated, and after discovering it was a 993, cancelled the search. Husband last seen in garage crying.... Police providing escort to flat bed. Case closed.
