But am I right, it's not only a swap. You need to do body work on the bumper?

You're right. I had the bumperette holes filled to accommodate the euro lenses. Prior to installing the turbo bumper I bought some euro clear lenses and modified (shortened them) to fit with the bumperettes. See the photo below.

You can buy pre-shortened ones from Better Bodies. Cost a little more but the work is done.

^^ they do not manufacture "short" clears for US cars with bumperettes. The shortened one's discussed above and available for purchase have all been cut down in the same manner.

I personally prefer the bumperette in look vs just fog and clear corner.

I got my clear corners for my US spec bumper from Darin @ Fister

Good fit and finish.

My only issue is the chrome covered bulbs supplied don't light that bright.

Looks fine at night but no that great in daytime.

A minor issue that's easily rectified with a trip to AZ for some brighter amber bulbs and a misting of chrome spray paint

at one point we had a law here in Ontario stating that if you had clear corner lenses one would require a amber bulb. Im not sure if this is still a regulation

From what I hear the better bodies version is a manufactured short lense in clear for US spec cars.
