Some kind of leg/hip injury, according to the shop that put it in (RMG in Sunnyvale, CA).

I did have to drop the engine. I tried for a good 4 hours to get it out every which way and came very close. Had I not rounded off one of the mounting bolts in the process, I think I could have gotten it out. it's very, very tight back there. If you get lucky, you can get it out. A real mechanic could probably do it too... It was just a bit too advanced for me.

In the end, it was good I got the engine out. It let me be very careful about removing the rigid Pentosin lines that route back there in the turbo setup.
