I don't one day I stopped by the shop to check on some calipers that were being painted for me and the owner told me to go see a set of 996 twist he had done in hyper silver , as soon as I saw them I told him to do a set of 993 twist for me , what I do know is that they are 2 coats of black than the silver and than straight to the oven

I am so glad you are doing this first, it will make my decision much easier!!!!I too, have been thinking about a different wheel color for a set of twists and I am thinking a graphite/ gun metal color. I think that would look great against the arena red. I am not quite sold on black wheels, for some reason they always look dirty to me, but the picture you showed with the polished lip does look sweet. Seeing that my c4s is also arena red I will be loking forward to your decision. You having Mike paint the wheels as well?
Joe, beers in Gansett, mmmmm, is it summer yet??

You're back in the game already? Love the avatar. She's still treating me well. Will be up on a rack one week from now for some small projects. Take care, Brian.

Ok, so after much thought and deliberation, I decided on porsche slate gray metallic, paint code L22D.
Here are some photos of right when I picked the car up! Let me know what you guys think?

Uggh, thanks for making me have to buy new wheels and get them painted now!!! That looks fantastic!!! Did Mike do the wheels as well? I see your pics are at Unique Auto care? Did you get more wrap done?

Mike painted the wheels also! He did a fantastic job! Rick fixed a chip in the front bumper wrap I had done last year.
I couldn't be happier with the way the wheels turned out! I have to say I was a bit nervous when I have him the paint code for the gray.
Hopefully the weather will get nicer now and we can break the cars out of hibernation!

Two step paint process. First was to strip the wheels of factory paint, then repaint them in factory silver. Next was to mask off the 1/2" lip on the outer edge. Inners were painted with the slate gray metallic.
Cost was about $750 for the set of four
