Why?
I want to leave this topic alone but I just can't seem to...I should have gone to bed and not let myself get sucked in.
First thing, it's your car and you are of course free to do whatever you want to it. But chop up such a pretty 993 RS look car?
The GT2 was a special car...from the Porsche Data Book, by Marc Bongers. "The GT2 was built using the same lightweight practices found in the Carrera RS. ...the doors were aluminum...the GT2 engine (has) a modified control unit raising the power to 430 (I have heard 450) HP at 5750 RPM...suspension was lowered and stiffened...the GT2 rolled on three piece Speedlines, 9" Front, 11" rear" with aluminum inners and outers magnesium centers. The interior is identical to a Carrera RS, that would be Spartan, with roll up windows.
If I had unlimited funds, a 993 GT2 clone car would be fun to build and have/drive....but I wouldn't want a glorified Turbo look car...not slamming the 993 Carrera 4S, but the GT2 in full trim looks fast, I would want it to be as fast as it looks.
But in all candor, and having some familiarity with the Factory specs on a 993 RS and 993 RS Club Sport, building a GT2 clone to Porsche factory specs would be a little "spendy" assuming you wanted the car to be as genuine as possible.
1. You'll need a 993 Turbo motor, and modify it to GT2 specs (Don't know what these are/were), but the engine (RoW) output is different:
-Stock 993 Turbo, 408 HP
-GT2, 430 - 450 HP
2. Don't forget the 9" and 11" Speedline wheels, they'll be dear!
3. Weight...the stock 911 (RoW) weighs 3,069 Lbs, the GT2 weighs 2,849, so you have to lose 220 Lbs...you can do it if you:
A. Remove air bags,
B. Add lightweight race seats
C. Remove stock door panels and replace them with RS door panels
D. Perhaps remove the sun top, an expensive and time consuming job
E. Add an aluminum hood perhaps.
F. Go to lightweight 993 RS glass
And don't forget:
A. Add the GT2 suspension, probably more robust than the 993 Turbo, but not certain on this.
B. Add the G64/51 Turbo tranny, same as the standard Turbo tranny
C. Polyurethane fender flares
D. Turbo front and rear bumpers
If you are determined to do this GT2 project, perhaps look for a salvage 993 (Very expensive and rare to find one), cut that car up, and save you beautiful 993 for Sunday drives.

If you see yourself maybe selling the car in the near future, I'd leave it as is.
If this is car you'll keep around for a while, do the conversion if it'll make you happy
I'm a huge fan of the GT2 body btw

Beautiful C2; I really like the angles and the lighting; generally not easy to do inside a dimly florescent lighted space! Did you make any lighting / white balance adjustments to the photos before posting?

You have basically the same body mods that i have but I am missing the Turbo S lip. I wouldn't do it unless I could afford to do a full scale clone, engine, wheels, suspension and interior. I look forward to seeing what you end up with.

Yours is a narrow body and not a turbo so I'm assuming you really mean RSR, not GT2, correct?
Just to make you sweat a bit, I have perfectly fine set of RSR flares laying around in my garage...
I've also been planning on little RSR "excursion" but have not convinced my on it so perhaps you could use those flares instead of me...
