Put it up for sale on Ebay, linking Autotrader and Rennlist. You will expand your audience by millions by diverting away from this 993 forum.
Watch people on Rennlist get into a pissing match with each other about value of your 993 and start cheap shots at one another (cyber bullying---yes, adults do this to). Grab some pop corn and a beer, the show has begun.

I can totally respect you guys on here. I'm new to the Porsche world as u can see. I am a muscle car collector and own a few Shelby mustangs. I have always loved Porsche and always will. Don't pass judgment upon a fellow cat enthusiast. I'm not a dealer just a car guy, my gosh. I prob should have introduced myself first , but I hope passing judgment on people u don't know is not a common practice on here. I can understand what your saying but I just wanted a few opinions. Guess I got them.

Funny, I thought you just wanted to know what your car was worth? I guess now you know. And there is next to ZERO data for people trying to value their car or looking to buy. That is the problem with these threads. The circle is complete.
Fwiw, kudos to you for at least coming clean in the end. This forum is now ebay.

ShelbyGt,
Your question looks like a for sale offering. As a Member ytou are entitled to advertise your car here but a price must be posted. As you know, this is not an auction site.

Fixed it for you
Bob, it needs to be pointed out that he was not a member when he posted this For Sale, er, price check thread. Therefore, not only did he violate the rule about members only posting cars for sale, he further violated the rules by never posting a price, even when he was told by other members he needed to do so.
Although I understand being a moderator can be a thankless job, but if we have no one around to monitor and enforce rules, and dole out consequences when they are knowingly being violated, then what's the point in having them?
These auction threads are becoming more and more frequent. Does IB have a remedy in place to mitigate this from occurring more and more regularly?
Thanks

Well, maybe it's just me, but since the OP's "What's it worth thread?" provided him with authoritative opinions, buyers and a sale within 2 days, the OP should AT LEAST post the final sales price for analysis and disssemination.
