At least you've given everyone a target. Could the car be worth $55K? Possibly. But we need a LOT more information. Options, full vehicle history, current condition, your location (you say 55K but what country are you in?), pictures etc go a long way in achieving top dollar for a car.

Learn how to do a comp, and price your car accordingly.

You all are being pretty nice to this person. Hats off to you all because I am a fairly recent member and this type of post is very annoying.
But hey, I was new once too.

November, enrolled on RL, March, selling. Does this mean the car was bought in Nov, and is a 4 month flipper?

Oh well, I never understood that, but I guess people need to make a buck!

Let's spell this out. To post a car for sale here you must be a member and you must post a price. That's REQUIRED. Beyond that a proper ad with an all inclusive description of options, history, maintenance, and pictures would go a long way to selling your car. Perfect shape? In who's expert opinion? Do we take your word as an established long term member?
You did at least throw out a figure of 55K. 55K pesos? Guess it doesn't really matter, you've successfully advertised your car here without following the rules. Glad you could contribute.

So I guess you decided to glaze over the posts that referenced listing a price etc. instead we get your original vague description and an update with option codes?

Magdaddy? You've got our snow. We need it and I'll bet you'd be glad to be rid of it...
I'm old. Near 70. Tired of looking at "restorable Healeys." Tired of looking at
unobtainium 356s."
Having owned 3 356s and 2 914s many years ago and just, well, loving to drive, I've suddenly realized I'm wasting time and so, that in mind, am about to purchase a '96 993 Cabriolet from a Bay Area dealor. <35000 miles and seems (CarFacts) to have been overly cared for if that's possible.
I still, just want to drive.
Any recommendations from 911 owners on what to look for in the way of "red flags" would be greatly appreciated.
The being old as in fixed income being the biggest red flag I can acknowledge so far.
Distributor belt issues? Top mechanism issues? A PPI at the dealor that's maintained it for 18 years?
Not sure I need help but the dumb question is the one not asked. Thanks tennier@gmail.com

Since these threads are quite common these days, I'm well practiced.
I know there are those who legitimately want advice on a car's value and they can get painted with the same brush unfortunately. When it bothers me is after members have advised of the rules, the "enquire" persists. This person did at least throw a number out to work with (55K) but beyond that just a vague description along with the usual "perfect/needs nothing/100% original" banter.

Welcome James, but don't waste your 1st post and inquiry on a lame thread, like this. Take some time searching around the forum, play with the search feature, and you'll have hours and hours of reading. If you have specific questions on a specific car-post a new thread, so you get the feedback you'll be looking for.
