Great tires but horrible sidewalls. One pothole and they will be done, guaranteed.
Went through a few fronts before I changed to a stronger sidewall tire.
My local shop hates the em for the constant warranty claims. Also, their tread wear is nowhere close to its rating. All manufacturers have their own method for testing tread wear, which leaves a lot for interpretation.
I would take a set of DW's over DWS unless you plan to drive in snow.
They weigh less for a reason, less material on the sidewalls

I have these tires on my 964 and are 17". I love everything about them. But my front tires are less than half worn and the backs need replacement soon. I think good grip comes with more tire wear. I will be replacing the rears and stick with the DW's

I had them on my '96 993 C2. I really liked them, but found they turned to hockey pucks after three years. No complaints, predictable, cheap and an excellent all around tire.

I have them on my NB 993 for a few months and they are fine. But if if you are looking for tires for your CS, I'd highly recommend you getting the Michelin Super Sport or Cup. They are probably the best performance street tires on the market. I went with DW because they are cheap and light. Also, the SS and Cup don't come in the size I need for my 17".
