Default 993 + BBS LM Appreciation Thread

The first 993 I ever fell in love with was a beautiful black C4S with BBS LMs. Ever since then, I vowed that if I ever bought a 993, it would roll with LMs. The LMs are classic, timeless, iconic, and look just right (IMO) for the lines of the 993. This thread is dedicated to the BBS LM lover in all of us. Enjoy.

Thanks for posting, Jim. Love LMs! They look so "right" on many Porsche and BMWs

haha I was giong to post up some old pictures from my albums but it seems that you have already posted them! :P I've had multiple sets of BBS LMs on a few of my cars (993, NSX, S2000) and if I could find/build another set with the proper fitment for the widebody then I would do it in a heartbeat.

boxcarracer looking forward to your results!

Jim I think you just added a couple $ points to the used market for LMs, in addition to them already being hard to source. Looks like you got pretty much got most of the RL rides on LMs.

You missed AMGfan PS TT on BBS LMs reverse mounted with faces paint matched in polar silver. Previously Nurburger's wheels as a bit of a history update.

Another beautiful pair, my inspiration to put on LMs is RL Foude's AS 993.

Those moving shots are excellent Graeme. Same with the car.

Are any of these photos with 19" wheels? It is a little hard to eyeball this with each photo taken at a different angle. I'm asking because there is a set of local wheels very similar to the BBS LMs for sale with correct widths and offsets, but 19" diameter. I'm trying to access whether I like or dislike the 19" on 993 look. (I know many on the forums here have strong preferences on wheel diameters and I've ready many of them.)

That was my ulterior motive to help with appreciation rates on LMs.

Damn, they look so good on a widebody, especially reverse mounted.
