18x9 et50 (w/7mm spacer et43) 225/40/18

Once these tires are done I'll try to fit a meatier set.

So what do all you LM owners use to clean them?

It takes me about 30 mins per wheel but I'm just using a generic cleaner and a cotton rag.

Here's my pic:

I use just standard car soap and a set of wheel wands from griots garage that look like big pipe cleaners. After hitting the dirt buildup with that it comes off nice with the hose. Then use a Terry rag to hand finish. But I'm not particularly **** , just like to have everything clean.

I'm about to buy some BBS Racing wheels from Gert but they want 350 Euro for the centre caps. I've now discovered Pure MS in the US who have them at a sensible cost but does anybody know the size ? A B or C

This thread is for LMs though... I don't think they use the same parts.
For reference, this is what I ordered when refurbing my LM a few months ago from blackforestindustries:
Replacement RM / LM M7-1-24B Assembly Bolt - Black $1.29ea
M7x1 Nut (For BBS Bolts) DM7-1 $0.30ea
Genuine BBS RS/RM Logo 0923221GW 1 Caps (Black/Gold) $74.99/set
I also later ordered narrow valve stems.

I'm currently using Griots wheel cleaner and a scrub brush on the main face of the wheel, then a wheel wand to get between the spokes.

I use regular car wash soap with a sheep skin mitt. Using it like a glove, you can clean the centres pretty fast and get into tighter spots with your fingers. Mine typically don't get extremely dirty, takes me like literally a minute per wheel.

Having a cone-shaped brush helps getting between the spokes really easy. I agree with Knight, a little soap and water, mitt, and the brush and you are good to go. I never use any "wheel cleaner" on my wheels. Too abrasive and could cause damage.

I will suggest don't ever use wheel cleaner on 3 piece wheels with polished lips. Ask me how I know.

Looking through this tread it is hard to tell which BBS 10" is being used on the back of the narrow body cars.

BBS makes two 10 X 18 wheels for Porsche one with 65 mm offset (stock RS factory 10" offset) and one with a 50 mm offset.

Are any of you using the 10" BBS LM wheel which has the 50 mm offset on the rear of a narrow body car?

I'm running 65mm in the rear. if you reverse mount them, you will effectively achieve approx 51mm. I tried this but it rubbed on the passenger side. Planning on rolling my fenders or cutting them in order to run them with the reverse mount sometime down the road. I reverted to normal mount in the meantime to avoid rubbing...65mm.

I think I would play with suspension/tire settings before cutting or rolling the fenders
Whatever route you take, the end result will be sweet!
