Yeah I looked into this as well as I love the look. But they are not designed for that, pieces don't align as they should. So you are taking some risks. BBS and others in engineering don't recommend to do it.
fronts are BBS LM265 et56 with 225/40/18
rears are BBS LM286 et50 with 285/30/18
tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
lowered with Koni Special Active/ Euro 993 M033 Spring Set
No other modification to fenders completed yet. I have had an alignment but didn’t do anything with negative camber or anything like that.
yes, they do rub, mainly on dips in the road not really on bumps unless they are large. Zero issues turning tight. If I lived in cali or Florida where the roads are nice it probably would have nearly no issues. Roads in MI suck.
I will probably roll like this for a while, then maybe get an alignment tweak with more negative camber to see if i can eliminate more rubs.

Roads in California aren't good. Even though we pay out our nose in taxes. They don't maintain them. The roads and highways get better when you cross the boarder leaving California.
Hi guys
I have a C2. Completely rebuilt to RS from original parts. KW Clubsport chassis and big brakes. Can I use front BBS LM 8.5*18 ET 56? Without pads. This rim should go 10.5mm inward. won't it be in contact with the brake caliper?
Thanks Martin

I have the same size LM on the front. 18 x 8.5 Et56. The inner barrel of the wheel sits very close to the suspension spring perch. The wheel clears the stock C2 brake calipers with ease. About a finger in between.
I'm running 5mm spacers to help the Et56 high offset. The spacer also helps push the inner barrel away from the spring perches.

Reason: was trying to ask someone specs didn't mean to post. these blog sites are confusing af for old people
I just picked up a 95 NB 993 and love the look of the BBS LM and E88's.
What width front and rear (and offsets) should I be looking for to ensure zero rubbing with say 225's in the front and 255-275 in the rear? thanks
For the E88
Go with standard specs!
235/40 R18 fits in the front too, didn't tried bigger ones in the back, but using 5mm spacer.
Get ready to wait for a while, but it's worth it.
