Calling all my fellow 993 owners... the now 3rd annual 993FEST is Officially ON! The event will take place Saturday June 28th thru Sunday June 29th. The event will have multiple origination points including Seattle, Portland, Spokane and depending on interest who knows?...

Wives are very welcome to come, last year we had lots of couples! I may even plan a separate part of the event for the non-car part of the couple. Let me know if there is any interest.

As an example my wife "tolerates" my car obsession but that doesn't include going on drives (surprisingly she says I "scare" her). She likes the social aspect, so I thought about her leading a wine tour or something similar during the drive portion for any person not up for the "spirited" portion of the afternoon.

Last year I went to the fest with my BMW, a month later I bought a 993. There is no excuse for me not going this year.

That's a good idea. If I am going with my wife again this year definitely won't go for the "spirited" drive or I will be forced to sell the car after the fest.
