The PST2 is pretty much a complete tool for 993's. If you have a Boxster/996 or later then there are some things that you can only do with the PWIS and later versions.

I saw a complete PST2 on ebay for 1600GBP. That makes me feel a bit better about spending 700 euro for just the pcmcia card

If the ABS light is on then it had a fault and is disabled. It *may* be that cleaning removed the cause. However, it is still disabled. Breaking traction will not trigger it.

No. I read German PFF Forum and the guy has a stellar reputation there. I ordered it and can confirm it cycles the pump.
