Default Two-Tone interior - Should I?

I am about to order a new complete carpet set for my 993 and want to have your opinion regarding the 2 tone look. I don't mind about the OEM look.

I have a 993 1995 cab white. My seats are tan and my current carpet is beige (tan). I want to replace it with black carpet but keept all the leather and vinyl tan like the picture below.

What's your opinion?

BTW, I got a good price with World Upholstery & Trim for a sliverknit carpet kit ($660).

^ I love that interior look. My interior in all black but my second choice (equal really) would be the above configuration.

this was (I think) a fairly common option from the factory

That's one of the classiest interior combos IMHO. It's what my first 911 had and also what my current one HAD. (I switched to all black as my current car's interior was shot.)

I like it as well, I did the opposite in my 95 black seats front and back, black shift **** and boot and tan carpet.

+993! I love the black deviated carpet. Way more practical than the lighter carpet and provides a nice contrast.

I think deviated interiors rock. Do it.

I had grey seats over blue carpet in the first 993.

My C4S has tan interior/seats and Guards Red paint. If the interior was not mint I would change in a second.

Done! I just called and ordered the complete carpet set + the Lloyds mats all in black! I will post the before/after pics when installed.

Thanks for your opinion!
