... and the results are amazing! After purchasing the polish in Oct 2012 (Liquid Glass LG-100 Ultimate Auto Polish/Finish - no affiliation), I finally got around to using it. The result was astonishing - the black is deeper, swirl marks diminished, paint is smooth. Easy on and easy off with great results... couldn't ask for more. See for yourself!

Looks great, did you use a buffer?

Not to take away from your joy but without a buffer, you're just not getting rid of the swirl marks.
I bought a black BMW at auction and other than the swirl marks, the car was impeccable. I tried hand polishes galore and rubbed until my arm fell of (it grew back). The swirls would disappear for awhile, then pop back as the filler material in the polish would dissipate. If you want to get rid of the swirl marks, do yourself and buy an orbital.
Car does look really good, by the way.

As for buffing, a black car or any dark car tends to show swirls much easier which means one might get the buffer out a lot more often.
Paint is only so thick, in fact, about 5 mils or 127 microns thick. Grab a 0.005 inch feeler gauge for an idea how thin that is. My new car measured 4.5 - 4.8 mils. My 993 after eighteen years, about the same.
Just something to think about when buffing often, especially without a paint thickness gauge.

Wow that Liquid Glass is still around!! Havent thought about it in years In the mid seventies I bought a container of it from a guy who sold it out of his trunk, used it on my British Racing Green MGC Gt and was amazed with the results, my bodyman had to do some work and wondered what I had on the car as he had a hard time getting through the "glass"
