Congrats!

Since you deleted the asking price, I'll add that it was $5500 for those who search for price comp info for seats like these in the future

Thanks... Honestly i think I'm crazy for wanting these instead of the 996 sport seats that are already in my car. With the market the way it is i thought i couldn't go wrong snatching these up. If they weren't heated i would of held out, but when i saw the post i knew i wouldn't have much time!

Now to recover them... has anyone seen a sport seat in alcantara? I don't really want to dye them blue, so ill be changing them anyway and maybe we get a little creative with the seats and headliner

David - for the cost to recover these to an acceptable level, you can probably buy new covers in midnight blue from GAHH.

Given that the gray covers have crests and look to be in nice condition, you could probably sell those as well.

Regarding the alcantara - rennlister Marc W. did a fantastic job with his speedster's interior:

Man,,, Luv the alcantara re-upholster in the above post #20.

I recall the HB sport seats wrestling with the full leather option for first position on my 993s order/option list, so I get the enthusiasm when the used market presents an opportunity.

The price differential btw the 993 production years and today is astonishing . . . .

Should the money from the blood bank dry up .... I can always sell the coupes seats..

Let me know if you decide to sell the grey covers.

I'm waiting on pics of a pair of grey hardbacks that were offered to me me (taken out of car in 1997). I need black, so I may have grey seat covers for sale. It may be a few weeks before the seller gets the pics as the seats are in another state in storage.

Probably not. I'm not really loving the sports seats I got for the Turbo. Waaaaay better than the ones that came with the car, but the couple of times I've crawled into the 4S to start it the past month.....well, they feel better. For $1K, couldn't go wrong. (I'll still vote for the RS America cloth seats as #2, leaving the early 3.2 Carrera version I had in my SC as #1.)
