I picked up some 1" Evazote to cut new pieces, I have some remnants that I can use to trace. Will post pictures of them mounted on the bumper.

In post #15, the cross strip goes just at the edge of the lower vent - as not to block it. The upper blocks from the factory have tapers cut into them so they push flush with the curve of the bumper, and that flush edge is what is glued.
I always found the factory design a bit weird, so I am sure it can be improved upon ..
cheers,
Mike

Just in case it helps anyone else - I have made a template for the foam pieces I have from Porsche. In future I can just make another set and save £30!

^ how did these foam pieces work for you?
The foam pieces will (almost) seal the wall between the inlet and exhaust of both the oil cooler and the AC condenser. I wonder how important this is to our cars? There doesn't seem to be much posted about this.

- Porsche specified it so we need to put them in
- I bet 50% of the cars out there have deteriorated or even missing foam pieces, and are working just fine.

I'll bet it will be more like 80% of the cars out there that lost the foam. Surely the cars are working fine but if the amount of air forced through the cooler is maximized this would result in lower oil temps? You'd think anyways. Especially cars that are pushed in hotter climates and track.
Ofcourse I don't sweat it and ended up leaving the wrench shaped foam out.

I agree - after buying these and installing them I am not convinced it will make any difference, especially the long piece that goes along the bottom of the bumper...but here in the UK we sadly almost never see hot temps outside.

Bringing this one back from the dead.
What did you guys use to attach the foam to the inside of the bumper? I picked up some automotive grade 3M double sided tape, that should work no?
TIA!

Bringing this one back from the dead as well!
I'm doing the standard bumper to Turbo bumper conversion right now.
My question is whether there are other specific parts I need to order beyond the new Turbo cover itself or is it a direct swap?
If I need to order additional parts to do the conversion, any help with the part #'s would be very helpful!
TIA...

The liners are the biggest one. New foam for the new bumper. All screws/bolts transfer. Lights transfer, although this would be an excellent time to get rid of the bumpettes.
You also need all seals, etc.
Does the grill come with the bumper?
Cheers,
Mike
