I know this isn't the Cayenne forum but there's much more traffic here.

I found a Cayenne, need a pre purchase done in Pompano Beach. Any favorite shops?

Thanks, I tried them. The dealership that has the Cayenne is next door. I went into the sales office to ask a salesman a question about the car (what do the buttons on the backside of the steering wheel do) since the Mercedes dealer did not know. The Mercedes salesman said they frequently do this with each other. The Champion salesman was not interested. He wasnt even friendly. He did refer me to the service department when I asked about having a ppi done. I drove over to the service department and received the leper treatment. No smile when I went in, seemed very disinterested even before I told him why I was there. When I asked about a ppi he told me they do not do them. Since I was told to drive right into the service department I was now facing the shop which customers are not supposed to drive through. After being irritated with me for wasting his precious time he told me to just drive through.

Follow up; I just called Champion Service, figured maybe I caught the service advisor on a bad day. I spoke with James and he was very helpful. They do perform pre purchase inspections across the street at their motorsports division. They do not open until 8:30, I will contact them at that time and arrange an appointment.

I'm glad to hear that Jim, I've purchased two cars from them and had lots of PPI's done by them. Always excellent service.

Before I was a customer of theirs, my son who was 9 at the time called them and explained that we were fans of the store and their Racing program and asked them if he could buy a Champion licence plate frame for me for christmas. They said "sure kid no problem... we'll mail one out" However, the guy got a bunch of stuff, a mug, a poster, a shirt for me and a shirt for him, decals and two plate frames and then overnight FED-EX'd them to my son in time for christmas. My wife checked her visa statement the following month and they didn't charge it!

That act of kindness to a boy, sold them 2 cars so far ( My 997 and one of my Cayenne S)
