I have Stage II and absolutely Love, Darin is a pleasure to deal with, they were somewhat easy to install and enjoy cruise speed. Not loud at all, once you get past 4000 rpm...Music

More and more considering Stage 1 at least...
I got the airbox drilled but I'm still not satisfied with the noise.
The 993 is in the strange position of having neither the visceral induction of older 911s nor the engineered exhaust noise of the 997 and 991...

Darin mentioned that only 2 or 3 per year get Stage 1, which is supposedly why they don't mention it anymore on their web site. I haven't heard any of them in person, but based on sound clips via the web, and what I've read, Stage 1 might be the best option for me. Stage 1 can always be upgraded to Stage 2, so it seemed like the best route. I don't want any issues with police or neighbors, and don't want the sound to be obnoxiously loud, so will see how Stage 1 will fit the bill. Looking forward to it!
