I'm no purist, but purchasing a 993 with the sole intention of removing the sport seats out and selling the car with standard seats is pretty low IMO.
Most people purchasing a 993 would certainly notice the 373/374 codes on the option sticker and would be put off - especially if they knew that the seller had them in their possession.

Thread update. I wonder if the seller got their $6,500 firm price?
Seats and wheels are pending. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...st-wheels.html
Not the seller or buyer.

I agree with you Nick, but there's lots of other reason why people remove these seats from their car and sell them, I bought a set from a guy that needed $ because someone bumped into his 993 and he needed to replace the side panel and some other stuff on his car, he said he didn't have $ to fix it so he figured by selling the sport seats he will have enough money to fix it and get it back on the road, I bought another set from a guy that hurt his back and he had to take the sport seats out, when I bought my 3.8 andial c4s the car didn't have sport seats and after looking at the option sticker the car came with sport seats from factory so I had to buy a set of sport seats for it I believe that in 10 years from now it's going to be cheaper to buy a car that has them and removed them and sell the car with just regular seats, sport seats are still out there , but they are going to cost big $ and the will continue to go up , most sport seats are in California , I just bought 2 sets in the San Francisco area and one set will go on the 3.8 c4s and the other in my new TORQUOISE blue C2

Except for the washer jet and bumperette delete - which are permanent - I'd keep all original parts that are replaced. Well except for wear and tear items (duh).
So Rudy do you keep all original parts for each car? Just that alone must fill a small warehouse?

(Whoever asked me about the dark blue softbacks, I ended up fetching them back and they weren't given a black dye job.)
