I can't be the only particular one here who hates when a car has a disgusting factory toolkit. I recently found a toolkit for a G-body Carrera that was in TERRIBLE shape. In fact it was so bad I thought about throwing it out. Sadly I didn't take a before picture. I put them in an ultrasonic gun cleaner and used a product called "EVAPO-RUST" not expecting much. When I pulled them out I nearly fell over, they were PERFECT!
So if you are bored this winter and are just tidying up your trunk, give it a try. Total time invested less than 10 minutes and $20 for a Gallon that would last literally years at this rate. You will be shocked. Here is what they look like now:
