Bob
You've definitely got my vote.
I used to work corners for SCCA at MAR back when I thought waking at the crack of dawn, standing in the rain & mud all day & pushing bugeye Sprites out of the woods was fun. What a dangerous, but fun track that was.

Interesting that you cite the money before the son...

Bob, as the Ungrateful Heir to the Throne (who happens to reside in your former stomping grounds), I'll put in a good word for you with the Queen -- the REAL person who makes all the HWFM-related decisions.

I trust you were referring to your mom & not your dad ...

It's about time that you & your Bimmer attend a DE at Gateway. PCA has one Aug 16-17 & there are still openings. I'll bet the Big Turtle would even cover the $250 cost. How about it?

I was referring to my mother, but I think we may have a new nickname for the Old Man.

As for the DE, you're right, the Bimmer is itching for a weekend at the track. Unfortunately, I can't do that weekend plus I've been fighting a losing battle with USAA Insurance with respect to track events. One of these days I'll get around to switching carriers.

As a devout lunatic myself, I would like to congratulate ViperBob on acceptance to the team!

My vote (as if it matters ) for the title of "Team Lunatic" is contingent upon documentation however... let's see your true colors ViperBob! I really think the whole team is a bit off-kilter, so to really earn the title......

As the Cheshire Cat told Alice (in Wonderland): "You really can't help going among the Mad around here... you might have noticed, I'm not all here myself!"

Steve... does your fax machine receive home brew? I have a batch of pale ale about ready to break into! Mark.

Sid Raile (314) 576-1811 - my State Farm agent, PCA member & DE instructor, running Putnam w/us this weekend - he'll get you covered. State Farm covers DE incidents.

Perhaps Viperbob could be allowed in as: "The Exception that Proves the Rule?" Look, every organization worth its salt has a "bad seed."

It certainly sounds like Viperbob is up to the task...

Los Altos, huh? My old stomping grounds, we lived there from '80 to '93. Watch out, I just might drop in on you when I come back to visit next time! (which I do often, my sister lives in Mountain View, and my daughter's moving to Mountain View in Jan.)

Pat,

Just let me know when you are coming to town. We can make Steve real jealous as I am hoping your mixologist title is for your skills with making drinks...
