Totalled up my 2013 993 (non-mod) expenses $2143. How'd you do?

Maintenance are items that the car needs to keep running (oil, clutch, brakes...)
Performance are the items that I want (golden rod) just because, well, I want them.
I hadn't though of another category called "keep out of jail"

Do not total any repairs. When i rebuilt my 1974 engine, I just put the receipts in a box, never calculated the entire cost (it would drive me crazy).
So here's my advice: DO NOT TOTAL COSTS, JUST PUT THE RECEIPTS IN A BOX AN DO NOT LOOK AT THE BOX…
Peace of mind!

Everything was simple maintenance and wear related, set of 4 tires-did the 90K service myself...plugs, fuel filter, pollen filters, brake flush(thanks Andreas) and a couple of oil changes. Only additional expense was the rusted up H&R monoball bull$hit that meant new monoballs/cost to install...and MULTIPLE alignments before it was right. The monoball fiasco really pissed me off, cause it caused alot of down time with the car this summer.
Mod money in 2013 was more than the above items-the Tramont Cup's, and a GT2 wing.
Mod money for 2014 will be another tire set for the Tramonts, center caps(color matched), maybe a new lugnut set...probably ANOTHER GT2 wing, and turbo nose splitter(color matched naturally)...maybe a Golden rod, and tranny bushing too. Need some help with the leather on the Sport seats too, showing some signs of wear from my hobbled old fat a$$ twisting in to sit.
Who knows what else 2014 will hold for mods...if it wasn't an issue with $$, I'd of bought that 964/993 TPC set for $5K.

Top end (done v v well by Don Wise), powder coated engine sheet metal, new ignition wires, engine compartment insulation, Fister II, clutch kit, PSS10 (corner balance), Alpine deck(CDR210 stored), Pzeros, HID lamps, Rennline dead pedal, steering rack/brake fluid flush, detail, car cover. Yikes, over $15K but the car is really nice now--like new.

Sadly, I am winning this competition... (except for the guys who race):
- $4,500 - Tires, Koni FSDs, springs, balance, Walrod FCA bushings
- $2,500 - General maintenance (fluids, filters, belts, etc.)
- $700 - Return exhaust to stock
- $800 - Bike rack
- $500 - Various things (T-lights, clear fronts, light bulbs, stone guards, detailing stuff, etc.)
I'm sure some other stuff. Hopefully good for a few years.
