Default San Diego has some undeniable charm

Despite;
  • too many people
  • high taxes
  • excessive government oversite

The weather still makes it all worthwhile.
<no regrets about bailing on the massillon, ohio area>

Rode today for several hours in shorts and short sleeve jersey, then headed to the beach.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

Come visit sometime.

Craig

too bad the iphone doesn't have an aperture priority mode.

Absolutely love the SD area! Driving roads are awesome inland and the views are great on the coast. I recommend stopping by Puesto sometime in LJ or downtown at the headquarters, best tacos I've ever eaten!!!

It's not so bad here. I bailed on Alaska for this.

Don't believe any of this about San Diego. It's the pits. Stay where you are.

Our typical route is 15 south to 78 west in 5th gear. Once on the streets of Oceanside its south in 1st and 2nd for as many hours as we can stretch it to Carlsbad. Once there, the Mariot has nice secure underground parking for the night. Then its up the 5 to the 57 and 210.

I'd guess at least half the miles I've driven my car involved a cruise through Oceanside.

Whatever, we just received 10" of snow here in Michigan & can still go for a swim anytime... without leaving the yard.
