Where is your jack (inside green bag) located...?
My jack is in the original green bag and it is located in the very front of the trunk just behind the "flap" with the (3) plastic clip/screw things...just under the black tool kit case that is held in place by the (2) elastic straps. I noticed that the ~1" cable harness for the battery is right next to the jack. I am concerned that the jack might wear/rub against the cable harness. I put a small towel between them, but was wondering if that is the "correct/original" location for the jack?

I think mine is wrapped up in the toolkit and placed in the spare tire. No green bag here. May not be 100% factory, but stays put.

Seriously?? Who in their right mind would actually use that thing to jack up a car....any car....let alone your Porsche?? Carry an auto club card and call the truck!
Mine is orange too, and I only keep it there (tucked in the spare tire well) to be complete.

Air compressor, latex gloves, shop towels, plastic tire bag, and tool roll are all inside the spare tire. My jack is in the front compartment behind the carpet-flap thingy. Oh, First aid kit (Benz) is in the spare as well.

My trunk is about like P-daddy's, except for the jack and First Aid Kit.
As I understand it, the First Aid Kit was an option in the US and standatrd on ROW, and was secured by the elastic bands on the backside of "the carpet flip thingy" in the front of the trunk.
There was a time you could order the First Aid Kit from Porsche, but no more in the US (not sure why....perhaps liability concerns). I got one a few years back.....from a classified source.
You may find them on eBay or elsewhere.

My jack and tool kit were in the exact same places on my 97 Targa when I purchased the car. I am not the original owner, so I can't say for sure if they are in their original locations. I've tried to find a more secure place to store them in the car, but ultimately have kept them there.

Plenty of long, lonely stretches of highway in Arizona where there is no cell coverage to call for help. Jack stays in the car.
