Not many places for lunch near the shop. Would you guys eat at Unicoi and then head here, or??? On short notice I'd not be able to host a lunch, but we could plan on doing that next year for the drive :-)
Lots has changed since you were here, you don't even enter the facility the same as you used to and just wait till you see how the place has exploded :-)
Happy to host you guys that want to stick around for the tail end of the drive!

if it wasnt midweek I would be very interested. hope to catch you guys some other time but really like the idea of ATL people getting together and heading for the hills. we should do it more often.

Weather Channel says sunny, high of 48, 0% chance of precip
WSB-TV says sunny, high of 48, no precip.
All say Monday and Wednesday are partly cloudy and in the 40's.
Therefore, it will probably snow.

Tentative Schedule/Details
Since no one has offered an alternative, let's meet at 9:00 AM at the Home Depot at the northern end of GA 400 (Address: 140 Maxwell Lane, Dahlonega, GA 30533).
Some folks coming up from Atlanta plan to meet at a Starbuck's at Exit 13 on GA 400. There are two there, so someone needs to specify which one.
Jim (AtkJimK) has agreed to put together a route and provide copies for everyone.
Jake Raby (Flat 6 Innovations, Raby Engine Development, and Raby's Aircooled Technology) has invited those interested to visit his shop after the drive. His shop is in Cleveland, GA near Helen, where we usually end the drive. We need to arrive at his shop between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. I'll have maps for that destination.
