Is that a 225/45/17 and 275/35/17? That would give a slightly lower gearing right?

I run 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. I've never driven with 18's, but assume they wouldn't be as compliant on the roads I need to deal with in my area. Plus, I like vacationing in the 993 and I never know what roads I may encounter.

 

Mine came with Hollow Spoke 18's and I have never changed them ... my previous car was a slightly lowered 85 Carrera with Koni Sports ... cornered like it was on rails ... felt every pebble on the road!!!

The 993 w/ 18's is a more civilized ride. I am afraid to try 17's ... I may like them to much ... :-)
