I think someone here has similar wheels on their silver 993.
Maybe this helps? I can Photoshop the BBS's your originally posted onto a photo of your car also.
Take care,

Wow this helps a lot! I'd feel badly about asking you to photoshop and use more time --- this has already been a terrific help. May I ask what tool you used to do this rendering? The car looks really clear, especially with no seats.

Thanks! I have to say some of these are a bit, hum, flashy for my own taste but I really appreciate you posting samples up.

Hmmm... you guys are awfully convincing. Anyone have opinions on Work Brombacher (can get new)

Versus BBS E88 (hard to get)

... And HRE Vintage 501s (pricey though). Not sure if these are TOOO retro for a 993.

Man the 935 Vintage wheels in light grey might be pushing it too much ---- but these are totally out of the price range.

Cup2s worked absolutely fine on my RS-height Aventurine car. Remember, it's not really green. It will look way too 80s with gold wheels and will cause you to swap them soon. At least that's what I think.

Anthracite is way too dark and monotone on Aventurine car. My thought - look into hypersilver. If that doesn't work, a decent set of 5-spoke wheels in silver should.

Haha! So funny that you just posted this... I just recently got on the hunt for some gold wheels for my Aventurine 993. I keep seeing pictures of gold Campagnola wheels on old 911s and it's started the itch... Definitely post pictures if you mount something gold!

I'm typically not a gold-wheel person, but I think gold would be a better match than anthracite with Aventurine depending on the wheel and finish. If you do a BBS LM, Work Brombacher, or other mesh wheel with a satin finish, it would look killer. That 964 with the bright gold finish...not so much.

+1 for Hypersilver, or plain silver like the car above (looks great.)

Not a fan of gold wheels, period.

I think Anthracite would work well too,,, though not Aventurine, this will give some idea as to the look...

Sure thing! Yea, no seats. Sending PM.

Made a quic P-shop of the photo Boxcarracer attached.

I don't think the HRE wheels would be a good match. The BBS RS-inspired basketweave is too oldschool I think. While the Y-spoke E88 is stylistically a descendant of the basketweave, I think it is much more suitable on a 993. I think the basketweave style looks better on the torsion bar cars. Some 964's can pull it off because basically the only exterior design difference are the bumpers. The 935 fan-looking wheels, eh. If they were real fans that would be cool, but they aren't.

Don't forget CCW is a good option for some of these styles.

Take care,

The sjc and brombacher wheels you posted are solid... That's kind of the same look I'm going for.
