Don't ask me how I know but did you put w/s fluid in the wrong hole ?

I agree with the plug wire/distributor theories. Just keep in mind that the total cost of distributor caps, ignition wires and plugs is not insignificant. The labor on the job will be almost as much as your parts cost. If you DIY, the job is a tedious, royal PITA. All of that to say, make sure you've positively identified the cause before you start throwing money/effort at your car.

If your distributor has a vent tube coming from it going to airbox...make sure it didn't come loose at one end. That could allow moisture into the base of the distribution. Easy check.
