Great story and actualization of a childhood dream. It's great to see.
That exact same color C2S was what made me lust over a wide body 993 in the late 90s. I ended up with a 4S that's never leaving.
The driving sensation is irreplaceable. From what it sounds like your better half is too.

My only word of advice- don't go crazy on mods. The closer the car is to stock, the more valuable it will be.

 

There are ppl on this board and elsewhere who would kill for that car.

Here's to keeping the dream alive that one can actually find such a desirable example before it makes its way to one of the "specialist" dealers who jack the price up out of reach for most.
