I have been using Bentley manuals on various german cars since the 70's. They were always better than the Haynes repair manuals. I have always had my eye on the Porsche shop manuals (more costly I know) and wonder how they compare to the new Bentley manual.

Hey Kurt,
That's a page describing gauge layout. We used our '97 Cab to develop that page. What did you find wrong? I'd love to correct it and post a new web page link. I have already started an area for updates that is worth checking regularly, just FYI. https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/d...ir+Information -Charlie

I have received my copy of the Bentley manual, I am very impressed.
My experience is mostly from Haynes manuals for other cars I've got, and the Bentley manual is a lot more understandable and well explained. I was particulary impressed by the comprehensive electric schematic section. As far as I see, it contains all models and variants of the 993. It also contains a very helpful explanation of the Porsche schematic system.

I just received mine and will go through it this weekend.
