We do a specific procedure for 1 hour for initial engine run in. This is at certain load points and rpm with attention to getting the lambda number correct within a short period of running for every load site we are in.
Okay, thanks for the info. Something I hadn't thought about before but I suppose the engine is built to 'blue print' standards that it can be freely used from the start and here you are trying to complete the full set up with the fuel system on the dyno.

Everyone involved in this build is very passionate about it. Seeing everything starting to come together is really exciting. The work that Kelly Moss and Rothsport Racing have done is incredible. I'm now counting down the days until the car is finished and I can see/drive it...

Thanks for the engine updates Scott. Do you have any video of the pulls with the straight pipes?

Default Straight pipe video

I am currently working on the straight pipe configuration to make the optimal power throughout the 4-8k engine range. I will post the video as soon as I have something.

You will have to promise in car video with great engine sound...I can't wait for that!!!

I will also give Jeff the dyno sheets to email you.

Default Rothsport dyno for KMR-001

We are finished mapping. Best overall package, response, results with the MoTec M600 I have ever seen. All of the planning and attention to every last detail paid off bigtime.

The engine is leaving tomorrow, air freight to Kelly Moss.

Default COP heat shields

We needed to come up with something to keep header heat away from the lower coil on plug units. It also functions as a COP hold down.

Which cop units do you use for these engines?

Nice simple/elegant solution. You guys truly are the best... The gold foil adds some nice engine bling as well!
