I wanted to use Callas for my PPI but the price he quoted about gave me a heart attack. If price wasn't a factor I would have gone there.

Yes he is the BEST. He's also, by far, the most expensive. But the OP said he wants the BEST. Tony is that.

He is thorough = more pricey than most, but I doubt that is a major concern for you.

Hergesheimer in Lake Forrest gets good reviews, but I was not impressed with my only interaction.

If in OC, Hergesheimer's in Lake Forest is a great choice. They really know 993's. I have had nothing but a great experience with them over the past 6 years.

They did a PPI on a 993 I was looking at (that I ended up not buying). Very thorough!

Thanks everyone. Between your feedback here, my own knowledge and a couple of collectors not weighing in here, Tony Callas seems the best (price is not a factor). Also talking with Jae Lee at Mirage International.
