there are 2 for sale right now.
If you are very serious, may I advise to personally fly an in-house engineer from weissach to check them, and NOT any local dealer, for authenticity.

Why? With the VIN coding will suffice for positive ID, you don't need a "Weissach Engineer" to check it out, a good Porsche tech will suffice, imho., cheers, Sonny.

Simply, weissach engineer is what I meant by good porsche tech, but a good porsche tech on the GT2 is not available on every dealer facility. for a fraction of the cost of the car, I would fly one from weissach to Italy, and the service exists, that is what I meant as well, but that's just my reaction

Both of the GT2's on autoscout look to be correct, although it is unusual to see cars without the bucket seats, especially a non airbag car.
As a collector are you looking for the first series 430bhp with the ali doors or the later 450 evo with steel doors?
I would buy on condition rather than production numbers. Clubsport's are rare in GT2 form!
I assume you have looked on www.mobile.de
It seems a little thin for suitable cars at the moment. good luck with your search!

I have looked at mobile.de, thanks. Both cars in Italy have issues but you would have had to dig as deeply as I have to learn about them. I've been through the usual web sources as well as the renowned dealers, keep hoping one of the RL members will know personally of one and direct me there.

No question that prices have risen rapidly for these cars in the past year plus. However, as with anything for sale, asking prices and actual deal prices are two different things. Neither of these cars will trade for those numbers with their respective mileage and issues. However, a truly great car will trade there or even higher.

Try tracking down this owner and make him an offer. Looks like a beautiful example!

scared ****less of the car, maybe?
just a filthy rich lousy driver maybe?
not actually his car, so extra careful, maybe?
Didn't realize you could shift, accelerate, and brake more aggressively, maybe?
I kept waiting for him to upshift AND accelerate to that next set of cones, way ahead.
I kept waiting for him to just graze a cone by inche's...instead of by feet.
I kept wiating for him to set the car up for the next gate, and direction change...
I think he left a couple thousand rpm on the table in those runs.
Smooth is usually fast, that was neither smooth...or fast.
