WTB: 993 Cabriolet; 6 speed
Looking for a well sorted 993 cabriolet. Miles are not as important as condition, including documented history, records, no accidents, etc. Open to different color combinations. Nothing currently posted on RL excites me so I'm hoping for someone who is thinking of sellling but hasn't listed yet. Looking for good/fair value (no dealers need apply) and easy transaction to a fellow RLer. Open to any location and comfortable buying sight unseen with a local PPI. Please pm with details. I have a '96 cab with 77,000 miles that will be up for sale shortly. I am the third owner (since 2003). It has an all black exterior and grey seats/black dashboard interior. It would take probably $10,000 to get it in tip top shape, but as it stands now I would not hesitate to jump in and go for a five or six hour road trip in it. I'm looking to get around $20k, so if you are interested I can send pic's, give you details on what it will need in the future, etc... This would be a good car for someone looking to pick one up cheap and then customize it as things need replacing over the next few years.

I'm one of those thinking of selling. 1998 C4 Cab with 6 speed, 53,000 miles, all maintenance done, suspension upgrade with Bilstein HD, M030 springs and sway bars, Schnell strut brace, litronic lights, heated seats, a few other options. New tires 3,000 miles ago (Sumi HTRZ).
Arctic silver, black top, black interior.
I'm original owner with all books and records, window sticker, 2 original keys and the 3rd spare key from dealer.
Car still has original clutch and original brakes, needs nothing except brakes probably in the next 5,000 miles depending on how you drive it.
