First easy mod on a 993, take all the stuff out of the truck including spare, jack, tools, (keep it in your garage) and buy a flat tire inflation kit. You just made your car much lighter.
Also take out the engine shield, that was put in due to noise restrictions in some coutries, no use whatsoever and many say increases engine heat and valve guide wear.

Enzo. Nice ride. Maybe consider a mod now for your screen name from Enzo to Ferry?

Very nice area. Are George & Barbara Bush still your neighbors? I used to work in the Riverway complex.

I love Porsche, but the Ferrari Enzo will always be my favorite car haha

Haha I'm not sure, I have seen Bush senior eating at Arcodoro a few times with two of his old secret service buddies in the past year.

Wow thanks! Never heard or even thought of that before haha. Is that a hard DIY or fairly straight forward?

Great area! I publish The Tanglewood Buzz Magazine. Let me know if you ever want to meet for coffee, perhaps Starbucks at Uptown Park. I'll PM you my email address. You're going to love the car. Just keep an eye out for potholes, cargo falling off trucks, old sofas in the middle of the freeway, etc... Remember, you are in Houston!

Hi

I thought the spare wheel was part of the crash structure at the front? If not then I will get rid of mine.

Enzo, All you haver to do is jack the back of your car you will see a black plastic cover where the engine is, it is secured by 4-6 screws (those 90degree screws) unscrew it and get rid of it, sell it on e-bay, not use for that, none of the p-cars after the 993 had that, my 991 does not.
