Default WTB That Elusive C2S Polar Silver

It's been much more difficult to find that 97-98 C2S in Polar Silver without the aerokit than I have first thought. So elusive it has been that I have had two very nice Vesuvius C2S's come my way, but I had to pass on them in hopes of finding The One. I know some would call me crazy.

If anyone knows of one worth checking out (relatively low mileage, stock, Polar) , Id be grateful!

Cheers,
Mike

That might be like finding a needle in a haystack. I believe Porsche transitioned from polor to arctic silver in 97 which was the first year of the C2S. Therefore, I think you'll need to find a custom ordered car.

allow me to be the first...YOUR CRAZY!

Never thought of a C2S in Polar, interesting.

I assume you are a very patient man.

i think vesuvius is a cool, very unique color - should have grabbed the nicer of the two and waited in the silver - if it exists.

Hmm, that could be why I can't seem to find one I am fairly patient when it comes to these things as I had to be to find my other 993, but this search has definitely tested that.

Patient or ignorant, maybe both! I must have been the only one that didnt know this wasn't a color normally offered, lol. Hmm, might need to recalibrate.

Regarding Vesuvius, I seem to like it much better in photos than in person. My eyes can't seem to make sense of the color in sunlight or natural light and I guess that's part of it's attraction for some, but to me, it hid some of the details and lines of the 993. I dont regret passing those up as I did spend considerable time trying to talk myself into getting them and couldnt do it, so I have continued to wait or wish for a C2S in Polar.

Pics or it didn't happen...

I've never seen a Polar C2S. I think it is a unicorn of 993s.

There are many more C4S in Polar Silver than C2S from my experience. There are the few C2S Polar owners out there, I have pictures somewhere in this hard drive.

No offense...but are you sure it's Polar and not Artic Silver?

Yeah nevermind, mine is an Arctic Silver 98 C2S. I always get the two silvers mixed up.

No worries. If I recall, Polar has more white/brightness, Arctic seems to have a blue-ish tinge to it. Personally, I prefer Polar so I can understand why the OP is hunting for his unicorn.

I think it's the reverse.
