My new BBS wheels and slippery slope updates!
Hey all,
Figured it was time to do an update and of course include what everyone loves - plenty of pics!
Been looking for awhile now to give the car another appearance, just to change up the look from the existing RUF style wheels. The LM's were my #1 choice, inspired by Nurburger's reverse mount thread and Foude's silver 993 C2S. TripleG local to me has been running a set this past summer, only re-assured me these are my next set of wheels.
Thanks to a fellow Rennlister I found a set a few weeks back:
As we all know they are a 2-Piece Die Forged Aluminum Wheel and just so light, approx 22lbs front / 24lbs rear.
8 x 18 et 50 / 11 x 18 et 56 (before the reverse mount)
After the reverse mount and polished lips, it all comes together nicely IMO. Used my existing 7mm spacer in the rear. Running Bridgestone SO2s factory sizes 225/285.
And some other updates this year:
- Back in the winter, a full front end respray including headlight washers delete. As well a full clear bra on the front end, so far it's been great for that added protection. I'd recommend after a quality paint job!
- Gert FPB.
- Rear wiper delete.
- Walrod Bushings along with a fresh alignment/corner balance last week. Like everyone has said, it does totally gets rid of that annoying wheel vibration at 90-100 km/hr. Mine were slightly cracked after taking them out with MikeJ.
- Incoming next week will add some red seat belts.
Enjoy the pics!

One of the best looking 993's I've seen - the wheels are perfect as well as suspension height.
Also, the paint is so shiny it looks liquidy-wet!
Truly outstanding...

Hard to imagine your 993 as any better than when I saw it; like improving upon perfection.
