One thing I noticed about driving with a thicker steering wheel is the reduced feedback. So something to think about if your somewhat picky about feeling the road.

Its the 996 wheel modified, so fitting as per standard, you send them an old one and they modify, although now they seem to sell them outright.

I do wish they sold the wheel with the airbag, as I'd rather not go through the trouble of having to buy the parts separately.

I didn't take measures but there is a difference in feel between my 4 spoke 95 (tip) steering wheel and the on on the 98 C2S. The gray leather steering wheel on the 95 seems thicker and much more comfortable.

Thanks for the info. I tried calling DCT, but the phone message mentioned to email instead (not sure why they list a phone number then). I emailed yesterday afternoon, but so far have not gotten a response.
