One thing I noticed about driving with a thicker steering wheel is the reduced feedback. So something to think about if your somewhat picky about feeling the road.

Is this wheel positioned any closer to the driver than the stock wheel? Do you know if a spacer can be used to get the wheel any closer to the driver?
Its the 996 wheel modified, so fitting as per standard, you send them an old one and they modify, although now they seem to sell them outright.

Thanks for the link. Nice looking wheel at a great price; I'm just not crazy about the two-tone look.

Thanks for the info. I tried calling DCT, but the phone message mentioned to email instead (not sure why they list a phone number then). I emailed yesterday afternoon, but so far have not gotten a response.

I do wish they sold the wheel with the airbag, as I'd rather not go through the trouble of having to buy the parts separately.

I didn't take measures but there is a difference in feel between my 4 spoke 95 (tip) steering wheel and the on on the 98 C2S. The gray leather steering wheel on the 95 seems thicker and much more comfortable.

I have the atiwe/raid unit. I like the size and thickness and all that. Only thing I don't like is the lack of bumps on the back of the wheel.

It did take them a few days to get back to me. You may want to ask on the airbag as he deals with a lot of steering wheels.
