Default Oil fan w/o resistor & w/o switch

Has anyone tried this? Since we are wasting energy in a hot resistor anyhow on low speed why not use it for hi-speed fan level also on the first temp switch level.

Searched but could not find asimilar thread. I would not do this on AC for different reasons.
Is this a bad idea and could I then solve it under the relay?

Cheers

Hei Henrik. If you are thinking on wasting energy, why run the fan on high speed only, even when the engine does not require that amount of cooling?
Cheers,
Tore

It´s no waste just using high speed shorter intervals instead of low-speed and heating the resistor for no use.
