Here's my garage build so far...

I would have loved to go wider, but property set-backs wouldn't allow it. So, I went longer and higher. No heat, but it's so well insulated with 2x6 construction, I haven't needed heat yet. I did 11ft ceilings with high lift door to accommodate a lift at some point. I still need to finish adding wall cabinets and flooring. Projects never end.

Here's my really "non awesome" garage. It's a crappy detached garage next to my office. Does the job.

 

I like the OSB on the walls. I'm thinking about doing the same. Wherever you want to hang something, just drill and hang!
Mine is coming along nicely!

 

One more from right now. I wanted to be able to wax at night.

NICE!! I thought you were doing a lift? Or was that your neighbor? I'm coming over next time I'm in town. I'm good for holding the can of wax for you. We'll eat off the garage floor.

 

Wifey says no lift until the kitchen gets re-done... Starting the kitchen next week!
