It's the one option I wish my car had (but it doesn't). The retrofit is expensive and looks like a more of a pain in the *** than it needs to be, so I don't expect I'll be doing it.
If by chance two cheap tachs fall off of a truck, we could have a tach install party. The install doesnt look bad to me, its just the price point. After seeing all the options my car doesnt have, this is my favorite so far.

That's a pretty nice understated radio design! It was photographed without the fingerprint build-up that most every touchscreen device accumulates. Has anyone acquire one of these lately?

The radio isn't available anymore. I checked into it. It was around $1200 and the cool features like the GPS don't work in the USA! ;-(

For anyone interested in tackling the upgrade, LAdismantler.com has used (and supposedly tested to work) OBC tachs for 1k, instead of 1.6k new prices I've seen.

Itd be nice to get another DIY style post of the troubles of getting this to work.

Phoneyman, I too would like an OBC. I like data. I did a simple search on google for what data does 993 OBC provide and what do you know as usual, a RL thread comes up first. I clicked it.

Based on the comments, my desire for a OBC cooled.....
