Second time that has been posted in this thread - and you are right, it's not even close to a match for what I am looking for.

Cheers,

Mike

Well, we got a car! A clean 2008 with 22,000 miles, private deal, very clean PPI. Car's name is "Bee" ( like bumble bee or Beatrice - not sure which. ). We had some issues with registration given you need a CA licence to do that, but my daughter now has her temporary licence, so was able to register the car, so with some insurance she is now on the road ...

Many thanks to everyone for helping out (especially CP - Pong - thanks!)!

Cheers,

Mike

Congrats to your daughter. We sold my wifes Mini last month and already miss it. Great little cars.

Congrats on finding "Bee". Looks like a great example, and glad everything worked out

Nice!

Will she tell you what Google is building inside those barges? seems like the media can't keep away, it has been on the news the past few nights.

I am sure that she is privy to all the secrets, given she has worked for them full-time for 2 days now (not counting two summers of course).

Congrats!

BTW, if your daughter finds a good indi-BMW mechanic, then please let me know.

Hi Mike,

I missed the original thread. But happy and honored to have met you and your lovely family last week. I guess we now have the answer to the famous question: To bee or not to bee?

If she needs anything I am happy to pitch in. Just feel free to call.

BTW, thanks again for dinner. I bet she has been back there already.

Have a great day and don't be a stranger in Mountain View. I know a very good reason for you to bee here.

CP
