I haven't used them (yet) but I've been to their shop, and in 356 circles they have an excellent reputation. I think the two "best" speedo shops are North Hollywood and Palo Alto (and I think the owners are related).

It is good to know that they do quality work, but they should, because they aren't cheap. That is a good thing because I'd rather pay for top quality work then overpay for mediocre work.
I followed mgianzero's DIY video, and didn't have a problem. Cost was the price of the gear from odometergears.com

What does N Hollywood get for gear replacement; abt $200 plus shipping?

They did the work on mine...about 13 years ago. 13 years later, no issues.
