He sent me another email and has obviously seen this thread. He said that he'd be happy to take the car to any Porsche shop for a PPI.

Might be something to look at, but like any deal, keep your eyes open.

I find it difficult to believe that many people on Pelican lied about dealing with him thought.

I'm sure they got swapped out and sold separately. The car was originally optioned with them.

thought I noticed sport seats in those shots too, then when getting to the interior pics, stock ones...just thought, huh.. old eye's maybe

there was one on rennlist this week that sold for 69,900...97/sport seats/and mileage in the 40s.

not a big diff in price but a big diff in what you were getting.
