Default Factory Paint Question

I think I know the answer to this but just to confirm my suspicions before a paint meter goes on the car...

One of the cars that I am looking at has a rub on the fender that clearly shows 4 coats of paint/primer - dark grey primer, then silver, then light grey primer, then silver. I believe the factory only used the dark primer then body color. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I can't give you a 100% confirmation, but no factory that i know of puts 3 coats of primer on.

A picture says all.
Here is how it looks from factory, go from middle of bare metal to outside.
Still if it looks like there are 4 - 5 layers, there are not paint and primer only
The first bluish layer is galvanization
1-galva (bluish white)
2-primer (thick matt vein )
3- Paint (thin dark vein)
4- clearcoat (very thin light grey vein)
That is from my car, and I am 100% sure it is original
I was trying to test how a drop of water every day on same bare metal , for rust evolution
