Wow. An asking price of $65,000 Canadian Dollars which is about parity with the USD, so.
Gotta luv these asking prices for our 993s.... Mine goes to the grave with me, if I can help it.

It never ceases to amaze me to see people post FS ads with such little information/photos.

Prices here have always been a bit higher, even after the exchange rate went toward 1:1. Partly this is because they were priced higher when new, and also a fairly limited supply. Still, the prices do seem to be climbing. There is a TT in TO for $100k!

Agreed! It's a completely different market, as it would be in other countries...I think there are only 30 or so 993s available nationwide right now. (With our dollar dwindling, I can't see many more private-joe-blow imports from the US in the future)

For $64,000 I'd like to get at least 100 pictures, a highly detailed description of the vehicle, VIN#, CarFax report and contact information. Some sellers like the high dollar asking price but NO effort in trying to attract qualified buyers, what a shame.

Interesting! Hopefully this will stay with a North American owner!

Seems like the higher prices are driving more sellers into the market. Sold my Covette this morning in perparation for the right opportunity

While there are fewer 993's available in Canada, there are also far fewer "real" buyers. I could have sold my 993's for more in the US than Canada and far quicker, but the border does scare quite a few US buyers away. My guess is that I will end up with a US car again...

I bought my 98 C2S in Vancouver just about this time last year. Almost identical except it didn't have HBs but it did have less the half the KMs and I paid more than 10k less for it. Glad to see I just made some money.

He won't get that money for it, more like $50--$55.

Can't wait to see values in 3-5 years. I'm not selling and glad I made that mistake a few years ago and got it out of my system.

I drove the crap out of mine today and was smilin' the whole time. Currently sits with 31K miles.

The last two that were for sale in town seemed to be better value...
