Hello All,
I just wanted to do an official intro as I picked up my 993 about a week ago. I'm still learning a lot as this is my first Porsche and I'm learning the ropes of Rennlist.
I did not see a sticky for introductions so I hope I'm not breaking the rules.
I made an Imgur album since the pictures are very large and I didnt want to scale them down. I have to thank the previous owner for the album (I grabbed them from his for sale ad)

Thanks,
Parker

Thanks guys. Its going to be fun just looking at all the members rides, and also trying to learn as much as I can about these great cars. I'm coming from the Audi A4 world with the 1.8T's (have a B5 and B6).
TBH, i didnt even know the car had the euro bumper, i'll have to search around for differences between that and the US one.
Timothymoffat: When the car was on the lift during the PPI, I did not notice spacers and they were not mentioned by the shop, but I did not specifically look. I know 128k miles is a lot and the motor will need to come out in the near future to have a few things fixed, but that was built into the price.

The wood dash is one of the things that initially attracted me to this car. All the other 993's I saw both had the standard dash and the tan/cream leather interior. I was pretty stuck on this one because of the dash and black leather.

Boman993: Thanks. I stumbled on your blog through google kind of by accident last night and spent a good amount of time going through all the posts.
It has a lot of great information and helped lead me to Rennline via your instrument rings post. Also I performed the spoiler mod to make it only react to the toggle instead of the speed. Thanks for all your hard work.
The mod was so short I only had time to finish one beer.

I have had mine for 6 months and only just did that last week (Thanks bowman) it is the best mod you can do! Spoiler up at 80kmh is just whacky unless you are entering an on ramp_
And congrats on the car. She's a beaut and I agree with the others she does not look her miles.
